Frequently Asked Questions:

What are the Kaleb Letters?

The Kaleb Letters are stories that revolve around children’s family life, school experiences, friendships and the ups and downs of growing up. The characters in the stories are personified Aussie animals such as Koalas, kangaroos, dingoes etc. Kaleb the Koala is the main character and will be the one “writing” a letter and introducing the featured animal for that month but the included stories feature a different Aussie animal every month

What does a subscription include?

A 6 month subscription is a set including a letter from Kaleb the Koala, a featured animal story, a trivia page about a featured animal and a coloring page which will be sent once a month for 6 months. A 12 month subscription will be the same set as above but sent for 12 months. Each month will feature a different Aussie animal starring in a unique story. Furthermore, it will include different trivias and coloring page per month

What is the recommended age for this?

Each child develops at their own pace but generally the Kaleb letters are recommended for pre school to primary aged children. The children are encouraged to read the stories themselves but younger children can have the stories and letters read to them by an adult or older sibling. This also fosters a love for reading for younger children and to enhance their imagination.

Is this a series?

The Kaleb letters are not a series and each month has a stand-alone story. However, the overall setting will be the same for all the stories, like their school, their teachers, and their friendships so it is recommended that the children follow the Kaleb stories every month.

Can the Kaleb letters be addressed to multiple children?

Yes! You can write a single name or multiple names into the letter recipient name upon checkout.

When will I receive my letter?

The mail outs happen on the 15th of the  month from Sydney, Australia. When the 15th of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday, the mail-outs will happen the day before that.  Orders from Australia will typically arrive around 3-8 days from mail-out date. International orders will typically arrive 2 weeks after mail out date (depending on the post office in each specific country). The Kaleb letters are sent through Australia Post (Australia’s post office service) using standard mail so, unfortunately, we are not able to track orders.

I want to gift it to another family member’s child or to a friend’s child, is that possible?

Yes, just put the child’s name and address on the Shipping fields when you check out, and it will be sent to them. You can print the emailed receipt and put it in a card so they will know that you have gifted them a subscription.
